Ben, known by many as “Content Ben” and by a few as “Edit Ben” is a filmmaker obsessed with crafting stories that emotionally connect with the viewer. He’s driven by a love for making audiences feel something, something that lingers long after the screen goes dark.
It all started when he was fourteen and asked Santa for a camera to make a film showcasing his parkour skills and he’s been making films ever since.
After earning a BA (Hons) in Digital Film & TV Production from the University of Gloucestershire, he spent three years working in the film and TV industry, collaborating with household brands including JD, Smith & Nephew, AstraZeneca and VisitBritain.
Driven to master his craft he returned to education where he earned an MA in Cinematography from the Screen Academy Scotland.
Just weeks after graduating he stepped into a content manager role, where he has spent the last three years leading the video marketing efforts and produced a wide range of content. From events coverage to social media campaigns and promotional films. His work has contributed directly to the year-on-year growth of the business.
Outside of work, Ben continues to explore his creative voice through short films and documentaries. When he's not behind the camera you'll likely find him in the dojo, honing his skills in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, Muay Thai or wrestling as part of his passion for mixed martial arts.
